I wasn't planning to post for the holiday, but I finished the Flipdolls this weekend and wanted to share them with you! I believe that I mentioned that one of the dolls was a gift for my friend's daughter who is having her second birthday party this afternoon. I can't wait to give her this gift!
I think that they came out really well! I love that they are printed on all organic materials and I chose to stuff them with bamboo, which was a nice sustainable option. These dolls and the kits to make them are available at www.umbrellaprints.etsy.com. My son is even getting a kick out of these little ladies and keeps asking me when I will be making him one...lucky for me, umbrellaprints will be making a boy version of these dolls in the near future!
Have a great holiday!

I found your blog through Soulemama and just had to say a huge hello!
I called my grandmother, Babu. I grew up in Massachusetts. My grandmother was Polish and as a child, I began calling her Babu. I am so intrigued and interested to know about my sweet babu! I hope you will share. I love your blog!

Hi MaryAnn!
Thanks so much for popping by!
My mom used to call me her "sweet babu" when I was little and I found myself using the name for my own two little ones...it just kind of stuck! It always brings a smile to my face, so I thought that it would be the perfect name for the site that talks about other things that bring me so much joy.
I am new to blogging, but am enjoying it very much! Everytime I get a post, you'd think I won a prize! I hope you'll keep stopping by!

Also...are you anywhere near Manchester, VT? I spent a great deal of time there as a child.
