A while ago, a freind and neighbor of mine {author of By Little Hands} invited me to share a table with her at our local Atlantic Highlands Craft Show on August 15th. I knew I would be busy trying to get my etsy shop together to open on August 1st, however, I thought this would be a great experience, and such fun, so I agreed. I have never done a craft show before, and decide that since some of the things from my etsy shop are special order, that perhaps I might craft some other items that I enjoy making and that I thought would have a great presence at a show.
I would have to say that my biggest fault is that I have too many ideas. As happy as I am about the 4 things I narrowed myself down to making, part of me wished that I just had a single niche that I could focus on. But, you see, my life is not like that. As a mama to two kiddos, the things I find myself creating have alot to do with what my kids need; today, a tooth fairy pillow, tomorrow, a dress for my little girl...next month, little feeding cloths for the baby. And so life goes.
So I will have 4 different items for sale at the show. Some things I have made before, and others are completely new ideas that I just can't wait to see all put together. As tough as it can be to make multiples of any one item, it is also incredibly rewarding to see your inventory grow, knowing, "Wow, I did this!" It is very much a win win for me, in that these items will find their way to my etsy shop after the craft show. I also hope that by getting my name out there that I might find myself with a few more readers...hey, you never know?

Thanks! It is comming a little at a time. I actually took a lesson from you on screen printing and will be giving that a go.
I hope it comes out as nicely as the items you have made!
