Ok, it's time to get honest. Even though I had not been keeping up with my crafting or blogging over the last few weeks, I can't say that I was away from the computer all together. For quite a while, my husband has sold a few higher end items for himself and friends on Ebay. I LOVE shopping for a deal on Ebay, and even bought my truck through Ebay! I can't tell you, even with having to have it driven to me on a flat bed truck from Texas, it was still the best deal I ever could have found!
Recently, I have been going through my maternity clothes. Even though I still have 2 months to go, I found myself wanting to wear many of the same things and just pushing my way past other items...some with tags on them!
I decided to start listing them and selling my maternity wear and I am loving it! So much so that last week I went through my daughter's clothes {since we know we are having a baby boy} and started listing some of those items. Ofcourse I still have a large bin that has a combination of nice things that I would be happy to pass on to a friend, but are not sale worthy and my special outfits that I'll keep forever. You see, when it comes to maternity clothes {that are very expensive and worn for such a short time} and baby girl clothes {that we often have too many of and are only worn a couple of times before they are outgrown}, it really is worth while to not have perfect things sitting in a bin in your basement when they can be sold to someone else.
So take a moment to sift through what you have packed away, you might just be able to sell it. Ofcourse many things will sell for what you paid, but those small amounts clearing into your paypal account really add up fast! With the holidays around the corner, it seems like the perfect time to make some room to move out the old to make way for the new things that will be comming in!
